It seems like every time I look out the window these days, I see something new in the backyard.  At this time of year, it happens to be babies . . . bunnies, turtles, robins . . . no, I do not live at the zoo!  anyways, today it was a Canada Goose with her or his? goslings.  They were peacefully grazing on grass and insects, until I came out to take pictures, then, they decided to move into the neighbour's yard.  Either the grass is greener over there or my red pyjama pants sent up warning flags . . . actually, the rest of the gang was already there -- at least two dozen of them -- so I guess they went to join the party.  I did manage to get a few shots, though I really must invest in some fatigues if I wish to continue pursuing this wildlife photography . . .

Speaking of new things, it was convocation day yesterday.  It was great to see everyone and felt good to celebrate such an accomplishment!  The past two years were quite challenging on many fronts and brought on a tremendous amount of change.  There were days I thought I would never make it.  Now that I'm here, I can look back and see how far I've come.  And as I look forward, I see a bright future with the sky as the limit.  So, with diplomas in hand and new friends to carry with us, I guess it's time for us to leave the nest too . . .
